Miki Amit began his training in fine arts in Israel . He expanded his knowledge of technique and painting rudiments at the Avni Art Institute in Tel aviv. Over the years he has taken part in several art exhibitions in Israel as well as in Greece and the United States.
Miki's works is demonstrated through the many paintings he has made. These paintings are portrait impressions of everyday life. His inspiration comes from people. These people are captured in the hubbub of life, in their natural settings. As a graphic designer, he designs catalogs, letterheads, and many other graphic design products.
As an artist and designer, he is particularly known for his attention to detail. His belief in the use of the basic sketch to render the reality he sees, is made evident by the intensive sessions of sketching and painting that goes into every piece he finishes. Each final piece is a product of endless patience, and sensitivity.
